Today I met up with a really neat guy named John. We talked baseball and made some baseball card trades. This was very fascinating to me, because he is so knowledgeable about baseball and listened to what I had to say. There are not a lot of others who I can get together with in this way, so it was great. He is the author of my favorite blog, Adventures of a Baseball Card Collector. The link to his blog is adventuresofabaseballcardcollector.blogspot.com. You really should check it out. He has an amazing collection.
To advocate for underappreciated baseball stars whose numbers, accomplishments, and reputations should earn them a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

ReplyDeleteIt was fun trading and talking with you too. I'm a few post behind, but the post for the cards I got trading today will be hopefully in a couple of weeks.
I did a new post tonight, by the way.
We were just talking today about Mel Rojas. Well, I just got on Baseball Reference and saw an article by MLB Trade Rumours about Mel Rojas Jr, who hit 47 home runs in Korea this year. He may end up as the billionth Alou/Rojas in the majors.
