This is an update from a previous article, The Top 25 Active Position Players To One Day Make It To Cooperstown - First Ten, published on January 23. Number 16, Nick Markakis, has retired, meaning that he is no longer active. He retired while still a good player, but I said that he needed to grab his 3,000th hit if he wanted to make it to the Hall of Fame. He has 2,388, which is probably not going to do it considering his other statistics, and I probably wouldn't vote for him if I got the chance. Would any of you?
