I am thinking of selling a few unwanted baseball cards from my vast collection. I have three for sale that are pretty valuable - each about $20 each - a 1990 Fleer 556 Lenny Dykstra and two 1990 Topps 220 Barry Bonds cards. These three are used but like new, and the following are used and almost like new. The above three are going for market value, $20 apiece, and the others are $1 each (most cards are worth $2 or $3, but a couple may be worth a little less. Um, hate to break it to you Damien, but none of those cards are worth more than 10 cents. If you look up those on cards on Sportlots or baseballcardstore.ca, you'll find there are plenty available for at most a quarter.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to burst your bubble- a good way to get a good idea for the price is to look it up on the sites listed above, or if you have a price guide it should give you a rough idea.
I didn't look them up on mavin.io, as I've never heard of that site, and if it's giving you prices like that it isn't very creditable.
ReplyDeleteI hope the parental controls ease up soon on letting you comment on your blog. That's pretty weird. My mom put something like that too on one of our computers, and it blocks really stupid stuff sometimes. There's a song called "Alcohol" by the Kinks-nothing nasty or anything, it's just called alcohol-and it didn't let me listen to it. And other dumb stuff like that.
